Teachers of Religious Studies! I'm a philosopher, academic (Oxford and London), and author of many introductory books, including books for children.
I've many years experience teaching young people philosophy.
I can offer your pupils sessions on philosophy and ethics tailored to your exact syllabus and to their specific needs. I can visit in person, or deliver sessions interactively via zoom, etc. - your choice.
For RS A Level I can cover all philosophical topics including Meta-Ethics, Religious Language, Ontological Argument, etc.
All sessions are accompanied by a detailed handout. Email me for a free sample handout on meta-ethics for OCR. stephen@thinking-big.uk
I am often also asked to run sessions for IB (esp. theory of knowledge), GCSE philosophy topics, and Gifted and Talented events.
I also produce classroom resources, such as this animation on the problem of evil: https://vimeo.com/186237056
Dr. John Taylor, Cranleigh School says: 'Stephen Law is a tremendous communicator of philosophy to young people. He has the rare gift of being able to make philosophy enjoyable and accessible without ever dumbing it down. I'd recommend him highly to anyone who wants their students to discover how philosophy can be intellectually challenging but great fun at the same time.'
